Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, James moved to Nashville to study Audio Engineering at Belmont University. While there, James supported himself by bartending at Bartaco in 12 South, sparking his initial interest in the world of hospitality. Beginning his career in client services and assistant engineering at Ocean Way Studios Nashville, James was able to collaborate with iconic talent and major companies alike, pursuing his passion within the music industry. After leaving the studio in 2024, James worked his way up to lead bartender at Nectar Urban Cantina. Now Beverage Manager at Frankies Nashville, James combines his love for music and pop culture through cocktail creation, allowing him to foster meaningful guest interactions and his own creativity. Alongside bartending, James collaborates on music projects and runs a photography business with his wife.
